Fox News used a drone on Thursday to catch some rare aerial shots of the US-Mexico border along the Texas state line.

According to Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer, environmentalists are expressing opposition to President Donald Trump’s border wall because it could destroy vegetation.

“You know, the border terrain down here in South Texas is so incredibly unique,” reporter Casey Stegall said. “For context and perspective, let’s go now to the Fox News drone.”

Fox then switched to an aerial shot taken from the drone overlooking the US-Mexico border. The rare shot showed that the border in Mcallen, Texas is filled with trees and water rather than the desert-type landscape most people would expect.

“No desert here,” confirmed. “So constructing a wall through all of this could pose some challenges.”
